Another reverse ASIN tool, Data Dive, starts by asking you to input 10-15 competitor ASINs. From here, it will generate a keyword list containing all the top keywords from each listing. Keywords are conveniently organized into three lists: master, outlier, and residue. Master keywords are the hyper-relevant keywords you will want to include in your listing, outliers are search terms that may or may not be relevant but could provide opportunities, and residue keywords are irrelevant and can be ignored.

Each column can be easily sorted, and it is very simple to create a list of potential keywords.

The free version is limited, but it’s still useful for quick research sessions when you need broad keyword ideas.
Amazon Autocomplete
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the most effective. Typing a product or phrase into Amazon’s search bar and writing down the autocomplete suggestions can be a great way to find what real shoppers are actively searching for. Each suggestion is based on real user data, which makes it incredibly relevant. Even with paid software, I still sometimes use this method to brainstorm product title ideas or long-tail keywords.
